The Executive Office of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council Holds Its Third Meeting

The Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council held its third regular executive office meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and represented by His Excellency Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA). The meeting was attended by distinguished officials representing the member states of the council’s executive office, and the council’s Secretary‑General, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al‑Furaih.  
The meeting discussed a number of items on its agenda and issued several decisions in preparation for the third regular session of the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council, which will be held later this year. Among the decisions were the approval of the council’s 2026 annual plan and the endorsement of the framework for its committees and working groups.  
It is noted that the Arab Cybersecurity Ministers Council is composed of Arab ministers responsible for cybersecurity. Its statute was adopted pursuant to a resolution of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, and it operates under the umbrella of the Arab League Council. Its responsibilities include formulating general policies, strategies and priorities to develop joint Arab work in cybersecurity, addressing all cybersecurity issues and developments across security, economic, developmental, and legislative aspects, and approving joint Arab plans in the field of cybersecurity to implement the policies and strategies adopted by the council.
