Under the “Innovation in Cybersecurity Industry Challenges Grants ” Initiative… NCA Calls for Submissions of Cybersecurity Challenges and Innovative Solutions

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has called on researchers and innovators to share cybersecurity industry challenges and submit innovative solutions  in the field of cybersecurity, as part of a challenge and solution gathering phase within the “Innovation in Cybersecurity Industry Challenges Grants ” initiative. The initiative aims to develop cutting-edge applied research, support the adoption of innovative research outcomes , and steer it toward national priority areas in order to address cybersecurity industry challenges across various sectors and thereby fostering the growth of the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom.
This phase seeks to explore innovative cybersecurity  solutions that leverage the advancement of emerging technologies and global trends while addressing current and future cybersecurity challenges. It does so by collecting innovative solutions from researchers, innovators, and entities at the national level, while opening broader horizons to stimulate promising cybersecurity innovation opportunities and foster the growth of the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom. 

The initiative is part of the “National Program for Research, Development, and Innovation in Cybersecurity,” one of the key enablers for elevating  scientific research and promising innovations in alignment with the national priority areas of cybersecurity , which include NextGen Cyber Defense, Cyber Resilience, Cyber-Physical Technologies and IoT, AI x Cyber, Cryptography and Quantum security, Behavioral Cyber, Future of Cyber Threats and Attacks, and Cyber Order .

NCA also encourages all cybersecurity researchers and innovators in the field of cybersecurity to share cybersecurity industry challenges and submit innovative solutions through its website, www.nca.gov.sa, no later than Saturday, 13 Dhū Al‑Ḥijja 1447 AH, corresponding to 30 May 2026.
