The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has announced the launch of the third cohort of the Cybersecurity Accelerator, aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, promoting investment in the sector, supporting the growth of local cybersecurity startups, and encouraging innovation to develop creative solutions to cybersecurity challenges, as part of the Cybersecurity Entrepreneurship program.
NCA explained that the accelerator’s third cohort is designed to enable local cybersecurity startups and develop their capabilities by providing mentorship and advisory sessions, while also providing exposure to the latest and promising innovations in cybersecurity. The selection committee, composed of cybersecurity pioneers, industry leaders, and investment experts, evaluated all startups and nominated seven promising national cybersecurity startups to join the accelerator: Thawd, Cepro, Cybersee, SandsBytes, Revaizor, DarkOcean, and CyberX Intelligence.
The third cohort of the Cybersecurity Accelerator includes a series of curated workshops and direct exposure to best national and global practices and successful ventures in entrepreneurial landscape. The program also provides flagship training on state-of-the-art marketing strategies and practices to help attract customers and investors. These activities are carried out in collaboration with NCA’s technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE).
The Cybersecurity Accelerator reflects NCA’s strategic objectives to stimulate the local cybersecurity industry, empower entrepreneurs and startups, and enhance the competitive environment to attract both local and international investments, ultimately contributing to the growth of the national cybersecurity market.
