The Saudi Cybersecurity Higher Education Framework (SCyber-Edu)

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), as the national entity responsible for cybersecurity in the Kingdom, is mandated to establish cybersecurity policies, governance mechanisms, frameworks, standards, controls, and guidelines; monitor compliance with them; and update them as necessary. NCA is also mandated to build the national cybersecurity workforce; to prepare professional standards and frameworks; and to develop and run professional cybersecurity assessment tests.
Based on these mandates, NCA has made a series of updates to the Saudi Cybersecurity Higher Education

A review of educational program descriptions to align with the latest standards

The creation of new pathways to cover existing master’s programs in related disciplines |

A comprehensive review of knowledge units in line with the latest trends |
