Tahqaq« service, offered by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), has added two new features to its previously launched link‑scanning capability: ‘file scanning’ and ‘QR‑code scanning.’ These additions enable users to examine files and QR codes and verify their trustworthiness before use, a step aimed at reducing emerging cyber threats that could lead to unauthorized data access and bolstering cybersecurity across all segments of society.
These new features come as the handling of files and QR codes becomes increasingly common in our daily life, underscoring the need to promote safe and proactive behavior when interacting with these items. »Tahqaq« seeks to reinforce secure practices for individuals in the cyberspace, coinciding with Global Cybersecurity Awareness Month .
