National Cybersecurity Authority Carries out Cyber Drills for Staff of Ministry of Interior Sectors

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), carried out cyber drills for staff of the Ministry of Interior departments, with the participation of a number of incident response teams from the Ministry’s General Department of Information Security and its affiliated sectors.

The goal of those drills was to enhance the cybersecurity of critical infrastructures by following safe practices for dealing with technology, as well as protecting information, data and systems, thereby enabling departments to invest confidently in technology and services. The drill dealt with several topics, such as resilience during cyber threats, responding to incidents, and reducing the damage resulting from them.

It is worth noting that the drills come within the framework of the efforts of NCA aimed at enhancing integration and cooperation with all national authorities and sectors, raising the level of their readiness, building specialized national capacities, and developing skills to attain a safe and reliable Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.
