The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched the fourth edition of the “Cybersecurity Training Program for University Students,” aimed at enhancing the cybersecurity skills of promising national talent and preparing students for careers in the field. The program aligns with NCA’s strategic objectives to develop the cybersecurity sector and human capital. NCA has invited eligible students to register for the program from Thursday, October 22, 2026, through the end of Monday, October 26, 2026 (15 Jumada al-Awwal 1448 AH), via its official website.
The fourth edition aims to train more than 3,000 university students majoring in cybersecurity and related disciplines across universities in the Kingdom. The program consists of four phases, including specialized training courses, cyber drills, and an intensive summer camp at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and a leading international university, aimed at providing participants with scientific knowledge in cybersecurity. The initiative is part of the “CyberIC” Program for Cybersecurity Sector Development.
The program focuses on several key domains, including network security, cryptography, malware, incident response, social engineering, and threat management. The program will be implemented over 10 months in collaboration with KAUST and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), NCA’s technical arm.
