The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has conducted a series of inspection visits to cybersecurity‑related activities in national entities to verify adherence to regulatory requirements. These visits are part of NCA’s efforts to bolster compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure the implementation of cybersecurity best practices across the Kingdom, in accordance with the regulatory mandates established by Royal Decree No. (M/117), dated 21/06/1446 AH.
These visits included various national entities and organizations with critical infrastructure across both the public and private sectors, aimed at verifying compliance with security alerts and regulatory requirements, as well as ensuring that the necessary licenses had been obtained from NCA. Such efforts reinforce the role of cybersecurity in protecting the Kingdom’s vital interests, national security, critical infrastructure, priority sectors, and government services and activities, while contributing to a secure cyber environment that supports growth across all sectors.
NCA indicated that its inspection and oversight teams continuously monitor and track cybersecurity‑related violations to strengthen cybersecurity within the Kingdom.
