
During the “Government Entities Meeting” program, held as part of World Defense Show 2026, the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) showcased the enablers it offers to cybersecurity entrepreneurs and investors, as well as its efforts to foster a stronger integration among government entities. These efforts contribute to strengthening cybersecurity at the national level and achieving economic and social development objectives.
During the meeting, Eng. Hosam bin Abdullah Alwagait, NCA Deputy Governor for Cybersecurity Sector Development, outlined NCA's strategic role in developing the cybersecurity sector, supporting domestic and international investment in the Kingdom's cybersecurity market, and keeping pace with global trends in the sector. These efforts contribute in fostering an integrated ecosystem that opens broader horizons for the growth of research and innovation in areas of national priority in cybersecurity.
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is the national authority in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom, and the national reference in all its affairs. It aims to strengthening cybersecurity to safeguard the State’s vital interests, national security, critical infrastructures, priority sectors, and government services and activities. NCA is also responsible for stimulating the growth of the Kingdom's cybersecurity sector and encouraging innovation and investment in it.
