Through Its Pavilion at WDS 2026, NCA Conducts a “Cybersecurity Drill” for Security and Military Sectors

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has announced the launch of the “Cybersecurity Drill,” targeting security and military sectors, as well as national entities operating in the Kingdom’s military and defense industries, to elevate the cyber readiness of national entities across these sectors, cultivate the skills of cybersecurity specialists, and features the participation of their officials and specialists.

NCA explained that the drill, conducted at its pavilion during the World Defense Show 2026, simulates a range of real cyberattacks and incidents, allowing participants to apply response mechanisms and become familiar with the latest attack methods. It includes a range of technical and strategic activities designed for cybersecurity leaders and professionals to develop innovative solutions to emerging threats, in line with the best international standards and practices. This initiative is part of the National Cyber Drills Program, which equips specialists within national entities with strategies and producers for responding to cyber threats through realistic, continuously updated simulations. The drills are implemented via a specialized platform developed, hosted, and operated locally in cooperation with NCA’s technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE).

NCA’s pavilion at WDS 2026 also features a cybersecurity drill targeting recent graduates from Saudi universities and colleges majoring in cybersecurity, intended to develop their cyber defense skills and ensure their awareness of cutting-edge cyberattack techniques.
