The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education (MoE), has launched the 2nd edition of the cyber awareness campaign “A Secure Return to School”, aimed at fostering cybersecurity awareness among students and parents, establishing secure practices throughout the academic year, and helping protect them from evolving cyber threats.
The campaign covers a range of topics related to the safe use of educational technologies and platforms, most notably phishing, safe handling of suspected links and messages using available protection tools, passwords, security updates, parental control, two-factor authentication, and safe internet browsing.
The campaign features a range of awareness materials designed to build a robust cybersecurity culture, empower students and parents to recognize phishing attempts and mitigate their risks, and promote the safe use of electronic devices throughout the academic year via social media channels of “Aamn” Cybersecurity Awareness Program.
The awareness campaign “A Secure Return to School” is part of NCA’s ongoing nationwide initiatives to raise cybersecurity awareness across all segments of society, promote the values of safeguarding national security, and achieve a resilient, secure, and trusted Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.
