
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has called on researchers and innovators to share cybersecurity industry challenges and innovative solutions within the challenge-and-solution collection phase of the “Innovation in Cybersecurity Industry Challenges Grants” initiative. The initiative aims to develop innovative applied research, support opportunities for its adoption, and direct it toward National Priority Areas, to address cybersecurity industry challenges across various sectors and contribute to strengthening cybersecurity in the Kingdom.
This phase aims to explore innovative solutions at the forefront of global developments and trends, addressing the current and future cybersecurity challenges. By gathering innovative solutions from researchers, innovators, and entities at the national level, NCA seeks to open broader horizons to create promising cyber innovation opportunities and develop the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom.
The initiative comes as a part of the National Program for Research, Development, and Innovation in Cybersecurity, one of the key enablers for anticipating cyber challenges, strengthening scientific research, and advancing promising innovations in cybersecurity priority areas. These areas include: NextGen Cyber Defense; Cyber Resilience; Cyber-Physical Technologies and IoT; AI x Cyber; Cryptography and Quantum Security; Behavioral Cyber; Future of Cyber Threats and Attacks; and Cyber Order.
NCA encourages all researchers and innovators in cybersecurity to share cybersecurity industry challenges and innovative solutions through its website, www.nca.gov.sa, no later than Saturday, 30 May 2026.
