As Part of the Cybersecurity Postgraduate Scholarship Program Tracks, NCA Launches the “Postgraduate Cryptography Experts” Program

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched the “Postgraduate Cryptography Experts” Program to attract and empower promising Saudi talent in cryptography,  while providing an entry-level career path with employment opportunities across a range of entities in the Kingdom. It falls under the Cybersecurity Postgraduate Scholarship Program tracks for master's and doctoral degrees —a collaboration with the Ministry of Education— and supports NCA’s strategic objectives of advancing the cybersecurity sector and developing national human capital. Moreover, NCA has invited eligible applicants to register for the program starting Monday, 20 Safar 1448 AH (August 3, 2026) via its official website.

 NCA explained that the program aims to build specialized national cadres in cryptography, which is one of the most promising fields in cybersecurity, and to enhance their readiness to support national needs in this field, thereby contributing to strengthening cybersecurity at the national level. NCA also noted that the program is designed for top-tier candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, and related cryptography disciplines.

 “Postgraduate Cryptography Experts” program provides various perks to support scholars, including scholarships to top global universities renowned for offering specialized programs in cryptography, providing research grants in cybersecurity fields, and guaranteeing a clear career path after graduation, in addition to delivering support programs focused on developing scholars’ practical skills, thereby supporting national directions in cybersecurity.

  The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is the national entity in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the national reference in all its affairs. It aims to enhance the Kingdom’s cybersecurity posture to safeguard its vital interests, national security, critical infrastructure, priority sectors, and government services and activities.
