The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) hosted students of the Saudi Science and Engineering Team participating in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026). This came as part of the outcomes of the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity, which NCA sponsored in cooperation with King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and in partnership with the Ministry of Education, in alignment with its efforts to support promising national talents and enable the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) ecosystem in national priority areas in cybersecurity, with the attendance of His Excellency the Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Almazyed, and the Secretary-General of Mawhiba, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh Alkaridis.
His Excellency the Governor of NCA welcomed the students who participated in ISEF 2026, affirming that such achievements embody the unlimited support and attention that education, research, innovation, and national capability development receive from the Kingdom’s wise leadership, may God protect them, representing an extension of the national vision that invests in people as the most significant pillar of sustainable development, as well as highlighting the leading role of Mawhiba and its efforts to discover, nurture, and empower national talent.
During the visit, NCA showcased its role in enabling the cybersecurity RDI ecosystem, and stimulating researchers and innovators in the cybersecurity national priority areas, thereby contributing to the growth of the cybersecurity industry at the national level.
