Under the Patronage of the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Jeddah Governor Attends Closing of Cybersecurity Drills for Hajj Season 1447 AH

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mashal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, and on his behalf, Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi witnessed today the conclusion of the “Cybersecurity Drills for Hajj Season 1447 AH,” which was carried out by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of NCA, Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al Mazyed, and a number of officials from the public and private sectors. 
His Highness, during the drill, reviewed NCA’s efforts and strategic initiatives implemented under the Cybersecurity Fostering Program for the Hajj season, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity at the national level, raising the cyber readiness of the national entities participating in the Hajj season, developing specialized national capabilities in the field of cybersecurity, and increasing cybersecurity awareness among the pilgrims and personnel of the national entities, thereby contributing to a seamless, reliable, and secure experience for pilgrims.
His Highness praised the work of cybersecurity experts in the national entities participating in the Hajj season, for enhancing national cybersecurity and protecting vital interests, thereby supporting national efforts to harness all capabilities to provide the best services to the pilgrims. 
In conclusion, the Governor of Jeddah honored the winners of the technical drill. 
It is noted that the Cybersecurity Drills for Hajj Season 1447 AH, carried out by NCA over two days, involved more than 300 national entities represented by over 1000 experts and specialists in cybersecurity.
