
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched the (Tahqaq) service, which aims to enable members of society to interact safely and proactively with circulated links by instantly verifying their trustworthiness before visiting them. This comes as part of NCA’s strategic efforts to empower individuals to enhance their cybersecurity.
NCA explained that the Tahqaq service allows users to scan circulated links and contributes to reducing the risks associated with using and visiting suspicious links that may lead to unauthorized access to data. It also provides cybersecurity guidance to users, helping to mitigate evolving cyber risks and strengthen cybersecurity awareness across all segments of society.
The (Tahqaq) service is offered as one of the services of the National Portal for Cybersecurity Services «Haseen), in partnership with NCA’s technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company «SITE».The service is available through the unified «WhatsApp» number (+966118136644), as well as through the Haseen portal website via the link: (tahqaq.haseen.gov.sa).
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is the national entity in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the national reference in all its affairs. It aims to enhance the Kingdom’s cybersecurity posture to safeguard its vital interests, national security, critical infrastructure, priority sectors, and government services and activities. NCA undertakes several key responsibilities, including promoting the growth of the cybersecurity sector within the Kingdom, and establishing policies, governance mechanisms, frameworks, standards, regulations, and guidelines related to cybersecurity.
