NCA Launches the “Cybersecurity Enablement for Small and Medium Enterprises” Initiative

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), in partnership with its technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), has launched the “Cybersecurity Enablement for Small and Medium Enterprises” initiative. This initiative aims to enhance the cybersecurity readiness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom by providing vulnerability assessment and management solutions. This effort contributed to ensuring business continuity and strengthening national cybersecurity, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at). The announcement was made on the first day of Biban Forum 2025, organized by Monsha’at under the theme ”Global Destination for Opportunities.”

The initiative targets over 500 enterprises by offering continuous monitoring and providing solutions for vulnerability assessment and management to enhance the protection of the technological assets of SMEs. The program utilizes a range of tools, including periodic reports, advanced analysis, and practical recommendations, enabling these enterprises to safeguard their systems and data against cyber threats effectively.

The initiative aligns with the responsibilities of national entities and the private sector in safeguarding their cybersecurity, recognizing the sector’s pivotal role in economic growth and the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives. It also contributes to cultivating a resilient, secure, and trusted Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is the national entity in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the national reference in all its affairs. It aims to enhance the Kingdom’s cybersecurity posture to safeguard its vital interests, national security, critical infrastructure, priority sectors, and government services and activities. NCA undertakes several key responsibilities, including promoting the growth of the cybersecurity sector within the Kingdom, and establishing policies, governance mechanisms, frameworks, standards, regulations, and guidelines related to cybersecurity.
