NCA Launches Third Edition of Cybersecurity Training Program for University Students

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched the third edition of the Cybersecurity Training Program for University Students, an initiative aimed at preparing university students for professional careers in cybersecurity. The program comes as part of NCA’s strategic objectives to develop the cybersecurity sector and strengthen national human capabilities.

NCA has invited eligible students to register for the program from Monday, October 27, 2025, through Saturday, November 1, 2025, via its official website.

This year’s edition targets over 2000 university students from cybersecurity and related disciplines across universities in the Kingdom. It consists of four key phases, including specialized training courses, cyber drills, and intensive training programs at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and a leading international university, as part of CyberIC program for Cybersecurity Sector Development.

The program will be implemented over 10 months, in collaboration with KAUST and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), NCA’s technical arm. It focuses on several critical domains, including network security, cryptography, malware analysis, incident response, social engineering, and threat management.

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) is the national entity in charge of cybersecurity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and serves as the national authority and reference in all its affairs. NCA aims to improve the cybersecurity posture of the Kingdom in order to safeguard its vital interests, national security, critical infrastructures, high-priority sectors, and government services and activities. Additionally, NCA is dedicated to developing national capabilities in cybersecurity and participating in the creation of educational and training programs in this essential field.
