The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has launched the "Phishing Simulation Service," a new service designed to empower employees of Saudi entities, raise their cybersecurity awareness, and mitigate the risks associated with phishing attacks. This service is provided to Saudi entities through the National Portal for Cybersecurity Services (Haseen). The announcement was made during a ceremony attended by NCA Governor H.E. Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed and Digital Government Authority Governor H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan.
The service allows entities to design, prepare, and internally launch phishing awareness campaigns, thereby raising awareness of relevant cyber threats. It also provides the capability to measure the impact of these awareness efforts, assessing and monitoring the readiness of target groups to detect various phishing scams.
The "Phishing Simulation Service" package includes a user guide for all national entities that are registered on the National Portal for Cybersecurity Services (Haseen), instructional videos on how to utilize the service, and templates to support the launch of periodic awareness campaigns for employees.
As part of a collaborative effort with national entities, the initiative aims to raise nationwide cybersecurity awareness. NCA provides this service through its National Portal for Cybersecurity Services (Haseen), developed by NCA's technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE). Haseen enhances the mechanism for providing and managing cyber services and strengthens the protection of national infrastructure, securing a resilient and trusted Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity
