As part of the “National Program for Research, Development, and Innovation in Cybersecurity”, the “Global Summer Research in Cybersecurity” Initiative opens broader horizons for students to develop promising research and innovation by offering opportunities to join summer research programs at leading universities worldwide, and contribute in advancing research and innovation projects, under the supervision of leading international experts and researchers specializing in the field.

First Cohort
Implemented in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
Target Group
Undergraduate students and recent graduates in cybersecurity and related disciplines.
Eligibility Requirements

The applicant must be an undergraduate student or a fresh graduate. |
The applicant must be a Saudi national. |
|
The applicant must meet all requirements of the international university and apply to its summer program.
|
The applicant's university major must be cybersecurity or a related discipline. |
|
The applicant must obtain final approval from NCA |
The applicant must obtain conditional admission from the university. |
Registration
Registration is open until the end of Sunday, 13 Sha'ban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 1, 2026.
