The Third Edition of Cybersecurity Training Program for University Students
A program that includes participation in specialized training courses and intensive drills, organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) in collaboration with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and NCA’s technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE).
Program Objectives
- Contributing to preparing students for careers in the field of cybersecurity.
Target Group
· Students majoring in cybersecurity and related fields at universities across the Kingdom.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a Saudi national.
- The applicant must be a university student majoring in cybersecurity or related fields.

Phase 1: Selection of 2000 students, and the commencement of online training courses

Phase 2: Held in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, and Madinah with the participation of 500 students |

February 2 – 7, 2026 Phase 3: Held in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, and Madinah with with the participation of 200 students |

May 26 – August 26, 2026
Phase 4: An intensive summer program with the participation of 50 students. |
Commitment Standards
- Each phase includes a placement test; participants must achieve a minimum score of 70%.
- Attendance is mandatory, and absence must not exceed 10% of each training course.

- Selection is based on cumulative GPA.

- How long is the training program, and where will it be held?
The program lasts 10 months and will be conducted in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.
- Is there a fee to join the program?
No, there are no fees to join the program.
- Which language will the program be delivered in?
The program will be delivered in English.
- Is the program open only to Saudi nationals?
Yes, the program targets Saudi undergraduate students majoring in cybersecurity and related fields at universities across the Kingdom.
- How can I register for the program?
By filling out the registration form available on the National Cybersecurity Academy website. Registration is open for five days, from October 27 until the end of Saturday, November 1, 2025.
If I live outside the listed regions, can I still participate?
Yes, by choosing one of the approved training locations: Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, or Al-Khobar.
